Cet article explore le corps féminin et sa dualité comme outil de puissance et d’objectification. Grâce à son analyse de Nana d’Émile Zola, l’auteure présente l’utilisation des charmes, de la séduction, de la sexualité et du corps de la femme comme moyen de renverser les rapports de force entre les genres. Elle discute également du phénomène d’hypersexualisation du corps féminin. Étudiante en histoire de l’art, je m’intéresse particulièrement à l’analyse des images en tant qu’informatrices et productrices du discours sociétal. J’ai aimé éditer cet article, car il propose une excellente étude des discours circulant sur le corps de la femme et de sa place au sein de nos sociétés occidentales tout en apportant des pistes de solutions au débat.
