We are always looking for contributions that spotlight views that challenge patriarchy, white supremacy, colonialism, and heterosexism in academia. The online edition of our journal is always looking for contributions, and the print journal is open for submissions up until December 15th, 2024, for the publication we will put out at the end of Winter 2025 semester.

How do I decide whether to submit my work to the online or print journal?
1. Consider the length of your work – Work under 2000 words is better suited for the online journal and work over 2000 words is better suited for the print journal.
2. Consider the editing process – Regardless of whether you submit your work to the online or print journal, you will work with an Intersections editor to improve your work and get it ready for publication. However, these editing processes look a little different. If you submit your work to the online journal, you will work with an editor to polish your work in a more brief editing process. If you submit your work to the print journal, you will work more closely with an editor in a longer editing process to improve your work and get it ready for publication in the print journal.
3. Consider how you want your work published – Work submitted to the online journal will be uploaded to the Intersections website, while work submitted to the print journal will but published in a physical print journal (that you will get a copy of) and also made available on the Intersections website.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Intersections team with any questions you may have about either the print or online journal. We can be reached through email at mjfs.mcgill@gmail.com.
